Soon after we found our first lynx, we had a family of four cats run off the road and into the woods. We were able to walk parallel to them on foot, but even a relatively sparse stretch (by Riding Mountain standards) was too thick to allow for any open views. This somewhat abstract rendition shows how difficult it can be spotting these cats... do you see it?
