Unlike many other tours, I don't visit the popular spirit bear viewing platforms during my trips. This can make it more difficult to find this rare white phase black bear, but it also means it can be seen in unique and beautiful surroundings. We found this young kermode bear on our final day of exploration, and it ended up being one of the longest and most rewarding spirit bear encounters I've ever had.
