Photos from my January 2012 trip to Peru and a small slice of Bolivia. This was primarily a birding trip (I stopped counting at 45 species of hummingbirds), but I scheduled an Amazon extension to fit in some night walks and a few mammal sightings. This trip was beset by problems (I am unlikely to return to Peru), but I credit the experience with helping me appreciate birds more.

Highlights include the Marvelous Spatuletail hummingbird, Inca Terns, giant otters, and more.
