My first trip to China in 16 years was a short one, only three days. I went for the international photo festival at Sanmenxia, so I wasn't planning on taking any serious pictures. Instead, it was a good excuse to play with my father's Nikon camera (I am a Canon shooter), which I used to take snapshots at some of the nearby cultural sites during our group outings.
